Infrastructure Virtualization

Virtualization is an important part of infrastructure sharing. It basically allows user ownership and empowerment of the resources they acquire. Virtualization is a "Container" that provides a isolated view of user's resources.

Physical resources must be virtualized and offered to users on a as needed basis. Virtual Infrastructures can then be used to provide network services or even platform / applicative services depending on the nature of the resources. Unified Fabric management, unifies traditional B/OSS with cloud management in order to acheive full virtual infrastructure management functionalities.
